Land Formations is a repair and repurpose project dedicated towards the up-cycling of clothing – new, worn or torn. Inspired by traditional Japanese sashiko and boro techniques, this project aims to breathe new life into your favorite garments and reinforce the experiences they have been through.
This visual is dedicated to the first two pieces ever created for the project. These pieces were initially made for the sake of doing personal rework but managed to push beyond what they were intended for. There are about 40 more pieces left within this project that have yet to be executed and showcased, so stay tuned for future visuals including all of them.
